Things we do on the road

We have stopped and taken our picture with the Big Boy at two different stores. The kids thought it was so neat.

Being in a lot of public bathrooms we were very impressed with this hand dryer. It had so much pressure it would move your skin around. Oh well, you have do to some thing to make things fun. I think we need to put more thought into this. LOL

Victory in Jesus

This last week I have been doing a study on how to have victory in Jesus. God wants us to have victory in Jesus. But the fact of the matter is we already have victory if we are saved, it is just a matter of if we claim that victory on a daily basis. It is not something you obtain and then sit back. You must daily seek God, through Bible reading and prayer to maintain the victory God has given you. I am not talking about Salvation. Once you have Jesus in your heart, no one can take that away from you including yourself. But your enemy (the devil, flesh, and the world) are continually attacking you to beat you down and have a defeated life.
Psalms 119:9 Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.
Psalms 119:11
Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

First Baptist Church of Goshen, Goshen, Ohio

Sunday night August 17, we were at First Baptist Church of Goshen in Goshen, Ohio. The pastor is Bro. Junior Pittman. Our son John really enjoyed being here because the Pastors grandson plays the guitar very well and he showed John several things for him to work on. It is like guitar players have a special bond and enjoy playing together even when they first met. Services were good and fellowship sweet. We sure have enjoyed this time spent with these Southern Ohio churches.

Emmanuel Baptist Church Pounding Mills, Virginia

We were at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Pounding Mills, Virginia, on Sunday, July 27 . When you drive into the town you see the church sitting on the hill overlooking the city. It is a very impressive view that this picture does not do it justice. Something very neat about this church. As soon as we walked in the door I looked at their missions board. Guess whose name was there. THE SELLERS FAMILY MISSIONARIES TO NEPAL. That was the first time we have seen our name on a missions board. It was so awesome. The pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church is Bro. Chris Huff. We have known Bro. Chris and his wife Terri for several years, but just met the dear folks at Emmanuel this month. We sure had a wonderful time. We were so well taken care of.

Finally Back.

We have been very busy lately. It has been hard to get a internet connection and then when we do it is very slow or someone else is checking their email. We also have started school this last week. It has gone very well, just hard to get back in the routine especially on the road. Prayerfully I will get back to blogging on a regular basic. I have lots to catch up on.
