Sunday was our last day for a while at Milledgeville Baptist Church. It has taken me a few days to figure out what I wanted to say in this blog. I have had a very hard time this week. I know without a doubt we are doing exactly what we are suppose to do. God has confirmed it time and time again in the scriptures. But it does not make it easy to leave a church, people who you love so much. God has knit our hearts together and it is very hard thinking about leaving. I know it is not untill next year but there has been so many changes lately I have had a hard time. I love my church. I love the members and everyone involved there. It wasn't until this morning that God confirmed again to me what he is doing. My verse for going to Nepal is Psalms 4:1.

Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.

I will write my testamony later. But anyway, this morning as I was reading over the verse again and I went on to the next few verses.

Psa 4:2 O ye sons of men, how long will ye turn my glory into shame? how long will ye love vanity, and seek after leasing? Selah.
Psa 4:3 But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him.

I know he has called us. I need to stop worrying about everything and everybody and get about doing what he has called us to do. He is so faithful and I leave it all in his hands.

We had a wonderful time at Smith Chapel Baptist Church in Colt, Arkansas. We were able to fellowship with lots of friends we have known for years. The kids had so much fun with all the other kids that were there. They spent a lot of time on the instruments. Good memories to cherish forever.

Anchor Baptist Church - Millington, TN

Sunday night, May 18th, we were at Anchor Baptist Church in Millington, TN. Everyone made us feel so welcome. The pastor is Bro. Don Vanbuskirk. They have a good work. Chad's sister Jennifer and her family were there with us. What a special treat.

Sunday Morning, May 18th, we were at Bethesda Baptist Church in Frazer, TN. We had a wonderful time of fellowship with the Pastor and his family. My husband has known Bro. Chris for several years and always enjoyed being around him.

Busy Busy Busy

This last week we have been home and started the process of cleaning out the house to get it ready to sell. We had our first of many yard sales. It was a success. I have never had any luck in a yard sales in the past but this one turned out great. I am so thankful. Not much has happened this week except enjoying being at home and at our home church. As we were going through all the things in the house we were considering what to sell now, what to sell later, and what to keep for Nepal. There really was not a lot I wanted to keep, so I was doing fine getting rid of a lot. But then we went to our home church on Wed. night, I began to realize more what I was not taking with me to Nepal. Not the material things of this world, but the daily and weekly contact I have with my friends and family. Later that night God brought to my mind the song, "The only real peace in my heart, Dear Lord, is in you". Without Him we could not go to Nepal and be away from our family and friends. He is so faithful, I know everything will be ok. I know without a doubt He wants us to go to Nepal to tell lost people about Him. So we gladly go. And I know He will be with us every step of the way.

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7

Churches we grew up in.

Today was a very busy day. Sunday morning we went to Homecoming services at my parents church. Friendship Baptist Church in Henderson, TN. It was go good to see people that I have known all my life. They have loved us all these years. We were asked to sings a few songs during the afternoon services. As we sang "Just one more soul" I was looking back at my mother who was in tears. I know she wants us to do what God wants us to do, but the move in our ministry to Nepal has been hard for my parents. Please pray for them.

Sunday night we went to the church Chad grew up in. Emmanuel Baptist Church in Huron, TN. Same thing, wonderful to be around people who know and love us. We were asked to present our ministy. the kids sang, and Chad preached. They took us on for support. We now have 4 supporting churches. God is so good.

Run for the Rose Campmeeting Maryville Baptist Church

April 28 - May 1 we spent at Run for the Rose Campmeeting at Maryville Baptist Church in Hillview, KY. We had never been there before but what a welcome. We only knew a few people out of the over 300-400 people, but everyone was so nice to us. The Lord was in every service. We was provided a wonderful motel to stay in, all the food we could eat, and wonderful fellowship. Chad was able to show our burden for Nepal on Tuesday morning. We are praying we will be able to attend this campmeeting next year.

Harvest Baptist Church, Fairdale, KY

Sunday night, April 27, we were at Harvest Baptist Church in Fairdale, KY. The pastor is Bro. Jack Alumbaugh. The first thing I noticed coming in was the excitement in the air. These people were here to worship the Lord. The thing I liked the most about the service was that we broke up into 10 groups around the room and prayed for lost people. Once in your group, we went around and shared one or two people that you knew was lost and then we prayed. There was over 100 people there and you could feel God's presence as all were lifting names for salvation to the Lord. Another thing I liked about the service is they took us on for support. Praise the Lord. We now have 3 supporting churches. God is so good.

Fellowship Baptist Church, Lebanon, OH

We left Spencer early Sunday morning and drove to Lebanon, OH. We did not have a meeting with this church. We had been the year before at their campmeeting so we knew it was a good church to stop by. Very nice people. They asked Chad to tell about our new ministry and we were asked to sing a few songs. If you have never been to their campmeeting it would be a blessing to your heart. During the campmeeting you get to go to the Fellowship Tract League and help package tracts to be sent all around the world.

MTS in Spencer, OH was such a blessing. We have gone the last three years and taught the children while their parents were in classes. This year we went through the adult program. Bro. Brain Elam, Going to Russia, along with help from my husband, put together a video presentation of the highlights of our week at MTS. The video was shown at the Banquet the last night there. I am having trouble uploading the video to my blog.
